We have all 3 and the Wii is getting sold. Since we have Kinect for the Xbox and the Move for the PS3, the Wii is pretty outclassed IMO. Overall, we tend to prefer the Xbox with the Kinect. It's really hard to beat not having to use a controller at all for the game and the speech recognition feature with the Kinect is downright awesome. You can use it to navigate through all sorts of things and it's quite useful in some games (example: Kinect Sports Two).

FWIW, our 5yo daughter plays Kinect games on the Xbox all the time (Disneyland Adventures, Kinect Sports, Kinectimals). If it were me buying a system that kids would enjoy at the ages yours are, the Xbox with a Kinect would be at the top of my list.
