Saw the E6 Trooper today in the flesh for the first time. I have to say I was very surprised at the size of it. Looked very much like a 1/10th scale. Actually I think it was a fair bit smaller than the Revo. Suspension arms looked reasonably strong but the steering/toe links looked very thin. I guess since the truck is on the small and light side (yeah, it was pretty light too) that might not be an issue. The guys said has beaten the heck out of it and hasn't broken a thing yet other than blowing a couple tires off the wheels under acceleration.

I guess the smaller size and lighter weight can be of a real benefit if you were to race. I am sure it would a pretty nimble truck just like youtube vid shows.
Having a 1/8th drivetrain with metal CVD's at all corners is great thing too. Proper 17mm hexes (not like the crap on the Savage or the Revo), shock towers looked thick and beefy alloy as did the motor mount. Battery trays look like they could accommodate decent size packs as well. Shocks, although they had plastic bodies there were no signs of any fluid leaking from them and the owner has had more than 15 runs on the truck. Not bad considering my Savage Flux plastic shocks leaked before I even ran the truck.

Over all I couldn't really see anything too negative other than the smaller than expected size. Might be a plus for some but I like bigger and beefier looking trucks. My MT4 and Savage Flux completely dwarf the E6. The only thing the owner complained about were the tires. He said they were crap and didn't last long at all before they tore up. For me that spells a decent RC. Might have to add the E6 to the collection.
