I'm kind of interested in this truck but I've never seen any info on it it looks cool but my main concern is durability if anybody has had any experience with this truck please let me know if its worth buying. I know it was released before in other countries and its finally arriving in the u.s. |
That truck is an electric version of the Hot Bodies Lightning Stadium truggy! I thought it was dead and gone but when I started looking at the pictures I was amazed. I LOVED my LSP-R!
Compare some pics. Look at the front shock tower, as well as the rear chassis brace design.
Weak Points:
C-Hubs. By gods, I hated the C-hub design. Constantly broke on a hard landing. The stock steering knuckles were weak as well, consantly stripped out the T-bolts. I fixed it by making the truck a hybrid. 7075 Aluminum C-hubs and steering knuckles for a Kyosho 7.5 fit from TopCad. Losi LST outdrive shafts paired to Sportwerks CVDs. Worked beautifully.
