The 2200kv motor can outgear the 2650, but that doesn't mean it will be faster when the same voltage is being ran on both the 2200 and 2650 motor.

Running 6S:

The 2200 will be able to run a smaller spur and a slightly bigger pinion vs the 2650 motor.
Top speed of the 2200 might be only few MPH more vs the 2650 motor.
In a drag race, the 2200 will be faster if you can control the start up power.
Turning a big pinion with the MMM is iffy vs the smoother Tekin, from a standstill(both sensorless). However, the MMM puts outs more power. So pick your poison.
Stick with 10 degrees of timing. Use timing advance only if you run out of gearing. More timing means more heat in the ESC. Cooler ESC's are more efficient.

From personal experience, I find that Delta wound motors are better in a drag race. Speed runs either Wye or Delta will do.
