Thanks James, I tested several motors on 2s the results were lack luster at best due to the weight of this pig. At the time of tests there was no body or bed was basically a roller with all electronics and it plumped out at 10.7lbs !
I tried a 55T brushed, 1400kv Outrunner, 1900kv sensored 540 and the power was inadequate. Tho it moved nicely climbing was under powered badly, I also tried a Tekin 550 SC4X 3300kv but it was waaaay to fast. The 1400kv T8 on 3s should prove to be very ballsy and run efficiently.

These trucks have fascinated me since I seen the first video last year, I searched for months befor I found a decent priced used one to start this build. I would love to see them in person myself, I like they way they set up the courses as well. It seems like they purposely try to get them stuck and the crowd cheers all the harder when they can get out.
