I think you would like the results Providing you don't mind leaving the suspension set up for racing it's just a quick wheel change and your bashin' I don't race but I have done this to an RC8. Running gear was mmm 1520 6s A123's. I liked it quite a lot, it's was strong, it handled, it wasn't too big, it was versatile... but that's comparing to 1/8 truck and truggy. If I didn't have a custom build lst2 I would've kept the RC8.

It's left in the pic. It has wheel extensions and these wheels. The trick is to not get something too big otherwise it will look very MONSTER and handle like one too.


I didn't mind about the shocks fully compressing. It was extra pressure on the shock components and shock tower but it didn't give me much trouble.
