So just to be clear - on 6s the esc is cold and motor spins up fast and hot geared 45, and on 9s esc cuts out on acceleration and motor temp is fine?
I agree it sounds like a battery issue, if not a connection issue. Have you tried re-calibrating the tx to rx? and rx to esc? Just covering bases
