I have not ran it to much since the article. Just ordered a new 9920 ESC from Mike today and hope it is here before the weekend so I can run it again. or I might put the ESC in my EMaxx and wait on this.

As for wear of the pinion. Yes metal to metal does wear quickly and get expensive. It is worth converting to a plastic center diff.
