The Axial AE-2/Sidewinder ESC for brushed motors only, can this controller be used safely with external BEC (Castle of course) and run on 3s ?

I'm finding mixed answers on this Q.

Will be paired with a 65T brushed Lathe motor geared very conservatively in a 4.5lb-ish Crawler
