ok, so the large diameter shim that came with your bulks, will go in where I've pointed with the red arrow, in front of the bearing...towards the outside of the bulk. If you look closely, you can see part of it showing from the outside (the gear mesh will determine which side you need it on though...so don't just put it on the same side as mine, yours may require that it be on the other side)


The side you install it on will push the bearing in just a tad, as you can see below, but don't worry, this will not hurt anything. 90% of bearing is still seated.


And the shims I showed you up above will slide onto either side of the diff, where I've pointed below. This is where you will fine tune the diffs final placement, side to side, so the gear mesh feels good, and so there is no side to side slop
