Roughly $200 is the maximum for me, of course that's after the discount I get at Best Buy.

In other words, for the best buy lists, I would say about 300-400 if that makes sense.

I know with unpowered speakers (no amp) there's only so much you can spend until you hit a flatline where an amp is needed.
