For the press pins on the emaxx input shaft - they are surprisingly strong, but I have managed to break a couple over time. I replaced them with HPI press pins (little thicker - drilled out gears and shaft slightly) and haven't had any failures since.
Why would you flip the tranny? I was looking at it tonight and think I could get more weight up front...Im running a torpedo chassis..anyway..do you sell any mounting devices for the 9918? I've already spend so much money on this thing..its just dumb to make something homemade???

BTW..the 9918 and 9L are perfect..everything went fine..I have not oped it up yet on the road but how are the brakes? Is it hard on the motor when the brakes are applied from full speed?
