I also use packing tape on the inside of my bodies. I run it from nose to tale then run a strip from the bottom of the left door across the inside of the roof and down to the bottom of the other door. Making a big plus sign on the inside of the body. I do this twice in each opposing direction and it adds alot of integrity and along with a little shoe goo in the corners it keeps the body from wearing threw and splitting.
I also put a strip of the diamond plate on the bottom of my batteries to keep any pointy stones from puncturing them.
