I'm curious if you are aware of what it took for that guy to make the pack do that. The only way to possibly do that is to accidentally start your charger on a high cell count (like 3s when it should have been 2s) at a high charge rate and left the battery unattended. Of course, the Liposack could prevent a major fire from spreading, but there's no need for one if you know what you're doing.
