I think I have found a safe Lipo solution. FMA Direct has a 6s Lipo pack and charger scheduled to come out in a few months. The packs will be pricey but from the description of them, they sound awesome. The packs have a special wire for charging/conditioning the pack. The packs will also have an onboard voltage cutoff. I will be eagerly waiting for these to become available. The 6s packs are much like the scorpian lipo car packs schedule for May. The scorpian packs are lower voltage (7.4v) so I will wait for the 6s.
