Accually brian the diff in the center has less pressure.
The front and back has about 3 times the torque applied to them. By running a center diff it accually takes some pressure off the others as well to. If one is unloaded it takes the pressure off the other. While with a trans it gets full load shifted to the one one ground. If you get what I am saying.
