I ran the RR setup for several years on my bl setup, before I just I finally switched to the strobe last week..... One thing you need to do is really crank it down, and you can use the strobe sprong with a RR also.... The Bl setup I run is the following...

1920/8 lehner
2095 micro controller
I run 12 cells in series, but he most I've ran is 16 cells and it ran and held up just fine..
