I've had 2 micro's....one 1895 from back in 2001...had it for 4 1/2 years...ran realiable as heck...no issues ever.....then poof....sent 123 amps on 12 cells thru the controller....sent it to BK..they replaced it with a 2095...and that's what I'm running now. I've had it for a year now and have had no issues to date also. And I've ran 16 cells on it with ease also....So since he's going to a 12020 he should be fine...I've also have the program plug and can help him tweek the controller..
