I actually have extremly good luck the the HB parts. I have hit solid objects at speed with no damage other than a broke shock shaft. And this was a brutal hit. The Pro arms are garbage, run the plastic arms on a pro platform and you have a serious set up.

The savage suspension will still work on the newer design, you can run either. The brakes were removed after comparing the two on the track. The brakeless version is dominant on the track.

It takes a hard lick to hurt them with plastic arms. Its also a good cheap easy fix if it does break. Id much rather pull out two pins and 2 screws than unassemble a diff case, or replace something else. I have bent my fair share of bulks on the Maxx, this set up is much more durable.
