If not dying them, maybe at least putting them in some hot water to rehydrate the nylon. When nylon gets old, it loses alot of the water that was in it when it was new and it gets much more brittle. I have to imagine that getting parts for that thing while probably posible, would be hard to find and expensive.
If you boil the nylon pars for 15 minutes or so you will put the water back in them and make them alot tougher and less likely to break.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
