The 30+ cell controllers have a 42000 rpm limit under load (at least the current ones do - the new models are said to have removed this limit), so if you were running 12s Lipo, you couldn't do it with these controllers. The rpm limit is 42000 under load, which is actually better in terms of motor efficiency and heat tendencies, as well as longetivity. The 1600xl motor with two 6s packs in parallel would be an absolute beast, with very nice runtimes as well. The rpms would be similar to that of a high end nitro motor as well, so it could be geared similarly for the same speed, but much harder acceleration compared to the nitro version. The warrior 9918 could probably handle this set-up as well, although the micro 18120 could do it easier and provides the ability to tune a few things, so may be the better choice. The xl200 with the same controller could also be a winner of a set-up, but The 1600xl is probably the better choice to maximize the runtime, and would be an excellent performer as well. 18120 with dual 6s lipos and the xl1600 would be my choice.
