I agree. Work with the stock shocks or see if any of the long 1/8 scale buggy shocks from Kyosho or Ofna will fit. Put the Integy in the "circular file". That's where they belong in my opinion. I owned a set. What a mistake that was.

I still think you should go the E-maxx route but then I'm partial to the E-maxx. The Savage is a bit tougher out of the box but as soon as you start adding mods the Maxx catches then far surpasses the Savage. As always the real answer is "it depends".
