Talking Success at last! - 05.03.2005, 11:11 PM

Well, the Lehner 4200 MGM 80 Setup came today, and woah im lovin' it. After soldering up the deans I ran into some confusion with the bullet connects, but 2/3 were soldered right:L: Made a quick trip to the lhs and got back before dark to finish the connections and hopefully run the truck. Finished up the soldering, set up the all electronics on the xxx-t and prepared to program
Programming is a complete pain with this esc, its terrible, the instructions suck and it's hardly what the esc does. But... I got it all in the end, took about an hour. By then it was pitch black, nothing the flood lights can't fix:W: So, I got to run the truck in the backyard, about 4 inch grass. Let me say that this motor has some serious power, I was spinning out in the grass when I gunned the throttle. I ran about 15 minutes before I called it quits, battery wasn't dead yet. Motor was luke warm due to all the burnouts, and the controller was I C E
Great setup, I would reccomend to anyone not electronicaly or programmably challenged. Its light by the way, my truck feels like a feather compared to my old novak setup! Thanks for all the help Mike and the great service. Pictures will be up after I clean the truck tomorrow.
