IMHO, you'd be better off purchasing tools from a company that makes tools (Snap-on, Craftsman, etc) than an RC company that purchases and re-badges them.
A coating (TiNi), is only as good as the material underneath it. Thats why some guys with with the same coating, from diff. manufactures, will have different results. Coatings are also only good in wear situations, which most tools are not used in. You want a good through hardened steel.
