Your Mamba Max setup is exactly what I was thinking, Very Nice Setup! My local industrial supply shop stocks nylon, alum, steel 4-40 standoff's in varying lengths - so it shouldn't be too hard to do. I still have some left over carbon fiber and could easily make a larger center diff top plate to accommidate the esc, standoff's, and fan.
Cool w/ the 7075.:017: I saw the alu spacer under the motor. I was just thinking if you crashed and it put stress in another direction (say land on your lid.) 7075 is very tough, but the cheapie stuff you can bend with your hands pretty much. If you ever crash like I do, well, might not be pretty. :)

Very nice, these truggies seem to afford alot more space than the Revos, so mounting options turn out much cleaner. I really hate putting the Rx over the rear shocks on mine, but I just don't see any space for it that isn't too close to noisy stuff. That truck should run like a beast!
