The Traxxas Turnbuckles are hollow, thus why they are called "Tubes." The hollow design coupled with the 7075 material makes them, according to Traxxas, twice the strength of a Titanium Turnbuckle and 4x as stiff.
The Pushrods, however, are not hollow. But they are 7075, which makes them very strong.
Titanium is heavier than aluminum. Titanium metal is actually an alloy. Titanium in its raw form is brittle and rather similar to sulfur. However, when combined with steel and other metals, titanium alloy is twice as strong and 40-60% lighter than steel, depending on the grade of steel compared to the grade of titanium alloy. However, it is not lighter than aluminum.
