well, took it out for another run under parking lot lights.. i'm trying my hardest to get video.. it appears that imovie '06 isn't compatible w/ my ibook :'(

the 2speed assembly that i'm using as a 1speed.. doesn't work anymore lol.
i had the 2 shoes tightened in the "bell" that the spurs mounted on, and the grub screw holes are stripped out in the shoes.. I bought some perma-bond stuff that's supposedly 4x as strong as super glue, and tried that, but it broke free after about 4 minutes.

I'm guessing alot of the speed loss is batteries, but also, I put the 45t spur on, along w/ the 20t pinion.. (removed the mechanical brake, because i don't have a servo for it anyways..) so I guess either epoxy the 2speed, or just get a lightweight adapter made up., then it'll be back on the road..
top speed thus far is 48.5mph according to the Garmin Etrex..

btw, is 66c/110p amps enough for this? lipo can't come soon enough, and i just want to be 100% sure.. 5s lipo will be less voltage than what i'm supposedly getting now (i know amp draw plays a factor), but i'm under 40,000 rpm.. I don't have any other gearing options, so perhaps I should be looking for a different motor? around 3000kv instead of 2000kv, would put me at 55k.. higher than you monster guys like to run, but this car is only 6lbs.. so .. ?
hmm, just noticed my 540c 9l that i've yet to use.. 3345kv will be a fun test.. not a permenant motor, but i'll give it a run or two to see where it runs mph wise. just need some female 3.5mm plugs.
