I posted my brushless Revo utilizing the GP2200's back on 03.24.2005 here:
Brushless Revo
I have run my truck on 18 2200's and 18 3700's with approxmately the same performance but the 3700's did seem to have a little more punch, not much though. I usually run the truck with 20 2200's. The 2200's last around 14 minutes under race conditions. I found that out the hard way because I was racing in a 15 minute A-Main against the nitros. I barely made it through the last minute but still took second place. Running 18 GP3700's, I get over 20 minutes of runtime but the weight difference is around 8 oz
My motor is rated at 18 cells, 1200 watt's and 2500 kv. The controller can handle 21 cells and I have been running 20 cells with no problems (heat or otherwise)
In my opinion, the 2200's are the best high voltage solution next to Lipoly.
