If you put the rx in a waterproof case (commercially available or homemade) and run a Mtroniks, there aren't many roadblocks left... you can use silicone to waterproof the servo and put some thick grease around the output horn.

If you don't run it underwater these steps "should" protect the car. I have run cars like this and they survived in rain and puddles etc... my kids think it's cool to run through (small) puddles. Nothing that submerges the cars though... :026:
