They would work but I don't believe you will be able to utilize the voltage cuttoff for both packs because of the way the wiring is configured (the receiver plugs into the battery and the battery plugs into the esc. So you wouldn't be able to the receiver into both packs successfully.
However, I've never used them but it seems that you could get two Balance Pro 3200 R/C Aircraft Packs ($153 each) and run them in series through the FMA Direct Automatic Cell Detect, Low Voltage Cutoff Device ($20). You'd also need the 2s Balance Pro charger. I believe these are the same batteries as the scorpians they just don't have the voltage cutoff built-in to the pack.
This would probably be one bad @$$ setup.
I'm going to wait for the FMA 6s packs and charger to come out.
