Just pick a motor that would spin at the same speed on 6s as the 9L did on 14 cells. But be careful, the larger cans spinning at the same RPM will draw alot more current. Probably more than the 9920 will take.

A 12L on 6s would give aproximately the same performance as the 9L on 14 cells. Finding a 12L may be a challenge though. :eek: Not sure If I have ever seen one.

Another thing. If you go Lipo on the 9920, make sure you get a low voltage cut off for it.

This is kind of foolish though IMO. If you are buying a new motor, get the larger can XL motor like a 10xl (as others sugested) and geaar it for the speed you want. It will be a much cooler running more stable system in the long run.
