IIRC, it's the
black jumper that disables the BEC. The red one is for programming.
If you don't feel like messing with the red wire at all, just use a short servo extension with the red wire removed. That way, no modifications are necessary to the stock throttle cable.
Another reason to go with the Quark (depsite the cooling and 6s issues) is that the MM has been giving some people odd cogging problems. You can read
