Yah, but the thing is that they deliver full Ah rating (or so they show), so it's really not much worse than standard LiPo.

Ask yourself, would you rather have a little less runtime, and have an uber safe pack, you could recharge it in 5 minutes (or 1 minute) and be off again, not be affected by temperature ... and it will last and last. I know which one i will choose. I bet once they become main stream enough, there will be a 50% of ppl will use them.

It should be expected too that energy density will only improve, and voltage under load. What was LiPo's at market entry, i think it was just over 100 Wh/kg, and now it's up to almost 200Wh/kg, but thats low discharge 2C type LiIon's.
