Welcome to the forum matey! ;)

Alluminum is very strong, most popular material hop-up. Although it can dent/bend, but that takes alot of abuse!

Alloy' is heavier than plastic stock - only design can make it lighter - for example the SuperMaxx arms are very light because of the design.

The Novak isn't the powerfullest brushless motor in the world, but would still be good enough to give some decent speed and torque on your truck! Batteries are also important! Some good cells do a huge difference in power/speed.

In my opinion, use all the metal you have! :D

If the Novak isn't good enough, belive me - there are alot hotter brushless motors that would make that thing fly! (Not literally fly by the way, lol).
