Hi jhautz,

I am actually using quite a sizeable heatsink on the Quark. I flipped the esc with the plastic facing down, installed a CPU (mini-itx type) heatsink + 2 transistor heatsink on the aluminium side. They are held together with thermal conductive tape.

The ambient temperature also plays a significant role I think. When I run my truck, outside temperature typcially ranged from 30 deg C to 35 deg C. In addition, humidity is pretty high too.

I have to gear down & make a new mount for a milder motor I think.

Regards,
Joe Ling
