Traxxas Truggy vs HellFire Truggy -
12.29.2006, 11:41 PM
Hey guys as you know i have been moving up to build my next project which is the fully race/basher E-maxx (Including slipperiential, hybrids HB diffs, gmaxx chassis, crime fighter tires, 4s lipo, 7XL and so on). I am MOST LIKELY still going to do this project. But after surfing the web i am getting dragged into buying my favorite truggy the hellfire. I want to know what you guys think i love maxxes but the project i will be doing will be so much money and i am only about 1/5 of the way there on funds. The truggy(hellfire) i can buy and get running with the money i have and no additional cash needed. This is toying with me because my Patience is getting to me but i will accept what has to be done and get over my wanting to drive right away for a better end truck. I currently have a stocker E-maxx that i have around, i also have ti arms, ti turnbuckles, and msr5 integy shocks(given to me for free). i was planning on selling this stocker for more funds for my ground up maxx build up. but the sale did not go as planned and i lost some funds. i do still have the maxx but not the cash. It will take me more time to gain this cash than planned for. The thing i am talking my self into is to buy the hellfire and run the maxx stock and build on it slowly. i want a cool Maxx but a hellfire is cool too. I want to know what you guys would do. I know there are better truggy but i am kind of attached to this truck because of the layout and what i have heard about it. Does anybody have one of these. How does it compare to the revos, maxxes, and any other truggy. Also what are the speeds and goods and bads about the Hellfire. I am wanting to know the performance in nitro form not the Brushless versions just how good it is stock when it comes nitro. What do you guys think? I love the maxx but it seems to be a good deal 2 drivable cars one stocker maxx and other 1/8 scale truggy, or just one fully decked out maxx that might be done at the end of the summer. I Need your opinions, they are greatly appreciated thanks a ton. (I think i am 70% Maxx 30%Hellfire But that could change)
