Hmmmm. I was hoping for a bit more clearance than that. Probably will work ok with 4WD. The reason I'm asking is because I was running a RC10B4, which really didn't have enough clearance for running on much of anything besides a prepared track, or concrete. Anything but the shortest grass was difficult to run in. This is really just going to be a durable toy for me, haha.
Going with a 10L sounds interesting. I'm guessing those are going to be more tolerant of overgearing. With the stock setup of a 13/46, the rollout is 1.23, which is kinda high. An 11T gets me to a rollout of 1, which i've found keeps BL motors more happy....happier if I can get below 1, but then the speed tails off. It'd be great if I could run a 13/46 without heating problems. I'd just like to a have a solid troublefree setup that gets me around 35 - 40 mph. Looks like a 11/46 with a 4S might do it.
