I'm running a 7xl on 4s lipo in my 9.25lb Gorillamaxx and all the body holes in the world won't keep it cool after a 15min race. My alternatives are gear it down I need all the speed I got slower is not an option, cooler motor (9xl) $100 which will really slow it down, higher efficiency motor $300 OK till it gets 90 outside, lighten my truck I wont even go there, increase volts via 6slipo - then I would have to get a new motor battery and controller $500 + added weight. Or put on a $5 fan you do the math. I could make my truck much slower (9xl) or stick a whole lot of cash into something that
might run a little cooler until summer comes anyway. There are no options that compare to a $5 fan. I'll make you a deal you release the Monster Max and I'll stop running a Mamba Max with a fan.:018:
