the more i read on these forums, the more i realize i don't know jack. but i want to learn, thats why i appreciate this place so much. this will be my first time racing on the track, so i'm not sure what speeds to look for. I'm being told that lipo are not legal in my area. my intuition tells me that the added weight of the batteries (nimh) and their placement in the g2r chassis might be a large advantage in the center of gravity dept (i've been told that too light is a bad idea). Transmission issues have not been adressed, is ebay my best option for a used emaxx tranny. I would like to have a few options in my pit box as far as tranny, and esc/motor. I want to smoke the nitro guys, i realize drivig skills are most important. However i would like to give myself every performance advantage. thanks for any and all advice you people amaze me.
