I started the build of my G2R this weekend and I do have the exact same problem as dogboy.
The front one is very loose in the cups but this is easily repaired with whatever the methods.
The rear one, even with both cups backed out at max, the dogbone is so tight that it push on the ring gear shaft so hard that it makes turning the diff really difficult, making it very notchy. Not good.
Since this is my first Revo, I made some mistakes during the assembly. Like assembling one of the diff case opposite to what it should be. Because when I turn manually either the front or rear wheels, the other wheel set turn in the opposite direction. :007:
I have no idea which one though. Anyone know if both diff cases are reversible in the bulkheads or only one and if so, which one. This would help me a lot. Thanks.
I'll take care of the dogbone problem only after having repaired the diff trouble. Just in case it would solve the dogbone mystery at the same time.:eek:
