You could do a single 4s 8000mah pack, and I think that would be a more ideal setup for the X-Terminator because of the narrow chassis. Then you could mount the motor on the other side of the chassis.
Use the "8th Scale Buggy" setting for the Front/Rear Differential gear Ratio. Then choose the spur gear size and the pinion size.
