I'm not EE but teh voltage is determined by the individual component specs, not the # of fets... the double stacking the MM board IMO is referring to the fets... which would only double the current capacity specs.

ShawnP said that the HV components like used in their HV plane controllers cost quite a bit more than "normal" stuff. And I think the choices.... variety of components availble... is much less when you go HV.

But it would be worth paying an extra $20 or whatever it would be if it can do an honest 8s or so.
