1950 is probably overkill, yes... but I recall anyone running a 1950 in one.

The "optimum" 40K rpm is a myth. Don't worry about it. I can run my buggy with it peaking under 25K rpm and it works great.

That's a 1700kv on 4s.... I'm not saying that's what you should run, but it shows what can be done.
