this is why you would need a front and center, and not only a center;
If one front wheel is coming from the ground, all the energy goes to that wheel, and grip is lost. the center torsen would try to prevent that, but it is turning at a higher RPM already. if the front wheels are both turning in about the same energy, the largest amount of energy isn't going thru the centerdiff anymore, but can be translated into acceleration, without overloading the centerdiff.
