As mentioned, I puffed my 3S. Luckily, my maxamps 4k cells turned up & I'm running 5S 4000mah Maxamps lipo cells at the moment. I have had 2 complete runs until the LVC cut in & each time, my ICE says I've depleted between 3960mah to 3980mah of the battery. So, looks pretty good for now.

The buggy it kinda heavy... mine only weigh a tiny bit more than nitro, with a 6000-8000mah pack.

But since it's heavier, you do need to run a heavier oil in the shocks along with the stiffer springs. The oil damping has a lot to do with the car absorbing impact on landing. You could also swap out to a smaller piston and keep the oil the same. That tends to help bottoming out a lot.

But... all 1/8 bottom out anyway at least sometimes.
I have measured my maxamps recently & thery were in the low 40's (41 ~ 42 deg C). I will try the more viscous oil to see if I can improve the handling a little.

Well, we're friends & just goofing around. But the comments I hear the most from my fellow bashers is that "why no sound ?". "I need to hear the scream of nitro" "no kick lah".:027: I'm beginning to think that if I keep this up, no one will want to 'race' me anymore:036:

Thanks Brian. The handling of the buggy still need to be tweaked so I cannot get a consistant round (read, my driving sucks). :005:
