Hi NIS! welcome to the forum.

These Quads with paddle tires do nice in the sand..

I understand your newbe feeling, you don't expect this to be like this when you buy something new as a set.

I guess something went wrong with your diffs; here is what you should do;

Take a dremel and make round corners on each end of the pin.

The first batch of these diffcups had the same issues, the pins should be tapered on both sides.

DOn't take of too much, you want the pin to touch as much aluminum as possible. Just take off enough so you don't need to force them in. (the pin needs to move freely to prevent wear on the gears)
