For those more experienced, you will notice a mistake here.
[Hint: I used more threadlock than nececcsary along the way on this build.]
So here you will see front and read bumper mounts. However, I subsequently slightly modifed a front bumper mount and used it on the rear to get the body to fit closer to the bumper.
Pro-line steering kit worked out real well. And the Hitec HSC 5998 really turns the front much better than my stock one.
To get it neatly mounted and to use the GMAXX engine mount, I drilled holes and mounted the ESC just a little to the side. Then shortened the power wires to the motor.
I have tested it in the basement with some battery packs as I am waiting on some 7-cell side-by-side batteries. Boy is it smoother than my stock EMaxx. Going to change battery connections to Powerpoles and then I am done.
Now this may sound crazy, but I really enjoyed the build even though it took about 3 months all together...even crazier I'll probably list it on eBay so I can build something else. Again,
