mbx5t brushless - 03.24.2007, 12:57 PM

Thanks 4x4 nut, that project is insane!

That's exactly what I would like to do, but I'll have to look at the slipper part of the project again because I don't totally follow what he's doing there to be completely honest...

Serum, that's a good point, too.

And I'll have to look into that hot bodies option you mentioned jumper, is that specifically for the mbx5t?

Although I've had r/c cars for about 15 years and everything from a Kyosho Javelin and Vanning to a T-Maxx, E-Maxx, and TRC-Pro 10 (old school on road pan car) etc., I'm really new to the whole brushless deal.

I just got this mbx5t and I think it would be feakin' awesome as an electric!

If Mike does make some parts to convert these trucks to brushless I'll definitely be waiting to buy them like a kid at christmas... that mock up of the brushless motor mount with cooling fins is off the hook!

What brushless system do you guys recommend for a 5t prospec? I would like it to be competitive with nitro's in a race, but also have a decent run time.

Right now I don't have any lipo batteries, what do you guys recommend? And will a mrp super-brain 977 be a good charger for lipo's?

Sorry for all the questions, but you guys are really helping me a lot figure out what I need for this project!

Thanks alot!
