1 switch 2 of the three motor wires around, that way you can run it appropriate. Appearantly you are running with a reversed throttle channel now
2 check if the antenna is routed so it stays free from aluminum/metal. Put the receiver as far away from the motor/controller as possible
3 I would say a poor connection; this results in unsoldering. Normally powerpoles are shrinked onto the wires. Shrinking and soldering is the best way IMO. A wire that get's hot is the result of a too thin wire. A connection that gets unsoldered is the result of a poor contact.
4 yes, Mike has got them (site/shop owner). Otherwise you can buy a set of male/female, and use the males as spares for your orion batteries.
