AFAIK, Mike's Li-Saver is the car version.
Other than that, most of us (or I should say "I") use the built-in LVC in most of today's ESC. Some, like the MM, let you select a safer cutoff, like 3.1v/cell instead of the hard-coded 3.0v/cell.
There is another LVC that actually monitors each cell individually through the balance taps, but can't remember the name off hand...
